About us

We are a team of 6 students on a mission to spread awareness and educate the public about the significance of a health-care workforce through our research investigation. We chose this medium to present our analysis as we think it is the most efficient as it is available to anyone, anywhere. This research based learning nourished our cooperative skills and allowed us to work with students of different abilities. It prepared us for similar projects upcoming in the future. The research investigation enabled us to implement a more empathetic perspective on the world and helped broaden our understanding on different health-care workforce around the world.

This research investigation is based on target 3.C from SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being

This project links to the UAE 2021 national agenda in which their main aim is to have a world class health care system. By aiming to improve their healthcare system, UAE will soon be having some of the best healthcare services, which will help in achieving their goal of having a world class healthcare system.

Incorporation of HPL (High Performance Learning)

The HPL philosophy is that almost every child has it within themselves to be a high performer and that the school should reflect that belief in its language, its expectations and the way it structures teaching and learning. This year, CIS Dubai had adopted this practice and are making steady progress towards it.

Some of the ACPs (Advanced Cognitive Performance Characteristics)  that we utilized were meta thinking and linking. Meta thinking plays an important role in our research investigation as we are constantly building our intellectual confidence and self-regulating skills. Linking is important since we need to have the ability to work with big ideas and comprehensive concepts. Some of the vital VAAs ( Values Attitudes and Attributes) used are empathetic hard working and agile. We were empathetic when we molded in us the ability to collaborate and co-operate with each other. Agility is another key characteristic for any team member as we all should be open minded to new ideas and perspectives. Last but not least, we were hard workers throughout the project as we maintained a level of perseverance and resilience whenever we faced a hurdle.
